Low Secure Unit Update
Building progress - The project is currently running four weeks ahead of schedule and the confirmed date for service users to move in to the unit is 29th March 2010.
Chief Executive Heather Tierney-Moore recently praised the development of the new low secure unit at the Trust’s Annual Members’ Meeting held in Lancaster. Speaking of the build, Heather said:
“The NHS often gets criticised for overrunning and overspending on new buildings. I am pleased to say that our low secure unit demonstrates that projects such as this can be run to time and budget if the right people are in place to make it happen.
